稻、稻子是稻屬（學名：Oryza）植物的通稱，是地球上糧食作物之一，耕種及食用的歷史相當悠久。稻米是指源於稻類的完整和破碎的穀粒，包括稻穀、糙米、白米、碎米及相關產品米；稻穀是指經脫粒保留外殼的稻米，又稱稻實、稻子；而大米或米，常指稻穀去殼後的籽實；相對於「稻」是指植物體，「米」則是指其果實籽粒，但日常生活中會混用這些名詞。米煮熟後通稱「飯」。

使用礦物顏料與各種金屬箔實驗媒材所繪製而成，作品中局部含有植物纖維材質拼貼。
